At Cápita Works, we value the trust of our users, clients, candidates, and collaborators. This Privacy Policy transparently explains how we collect, use, store, and protect the personal data of the individuals we interact with, and what rights they have regarding it. Our commitment is based on compliance with applicable data protection laws – including Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) – as well as the principles of lawfulness, consent, information, quality, purpose, loyalty, proportionality, and accountability.

1. Scope and Applicable Law

Cápita Works provides recruitment and virtual staffing services to clients in Mexico, the United States, and other countries. Therefore, we process personal data from individuals located in different jurisdictions. This Policy applies to all websites and services controlled by Cápita Works and outlines our data processing practices in compliance with LFPDPPP, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable laws. Where additional legal requirements apply (e.g., in the European Union or California), we implement the necessary safeguards to respect those rights.

We only collect data strictly necessary to fulfill our purposes:

  • Identification and contact data: name, last name, postal address, phone number, email, and, when applicable, official ID.
  • Professional data: job title, current employer, work history, résumé, and information submitted through job forms.

  • Demographic data: country, language, geographic area, industry, or other profile information you choose to provide.

  • Sensitive data (only with explicit consent): financial, biometric, or health information, only when strictly necessary.
  • Children’s data: our services are intended for those over 18. Any data from minors detected without consent will be deleted.

Clarification: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not used for the selection of candidates. Although some automated job listings are powered by integrations with platforms like La Chamba, final selection is always reviewed and performed by the human recruiting team at Cápita Works.
