Virtual Assistants for Marketing

Think about your favorite brand. What does it make you feel? Is it happiness? Comfort? Or perhaps, excitement?

Whatever emotion it triggers probably has a positive response. That right there is the power of marketing.

For many years, marketers have studied and made countless efforts to perfect brands, leave a positive impact on their clients, and most importantly, become their top of mind. But as simple as this may sound, it's no easy feat.

Most people think of marketing as just TV ads, digital marketing campaigns, email marketing, and social media management, and while that is correct, it’s just the tip of the iceberg. You see, content creation is the heart of it all, but creating a marketing strategy - which is all the marketing efforts combined - is not just making an aesthetic ad or having a pretty landing page, there is more to it than meets the eye.

Think of it this way. A chef does not just add random ingredients into a bowl, mix, bake, and call it a day. Instead, they make sure to measure every ingredient carefully, slowly integrate every ingredient into a bowl, bake at a certain temperature, and then call it a day. But even then, the same recipe does not always work.

I hope this analogy made sense to you, but basically, what I'm trying to say is that marketing is much more than just ads, it is an integration of everything and everyone who is a part of your company, from the delivery person, all the way up to the CEO. Every interaction anyone has with your company will determine whether someone wants to become your customer or - as dramatic as this may sound - never hear from you again.

Startup or not, everyone needs marketing in their business.

One of the most common mistakes among entrepreneurs is deciding that marketing isn't necessary during the first years/stages of a company. Instead, many of them decide to use the money that would go to marketing in other departments or simply spend it.

Now, you may think this is not that bad, however, the first few years of a company are the most crucial to its development. Throughout the first years you're trying to grow your business, and with growth - call it sales or number of employees - comes your brand. Simply put, your brand is your shadow, whatever you do, it'll follow.

With that said, yes, marketing should be a priority. Now, let's get into solutions.

Why you should hire a Marketing VA

As a business owner yourself, I'm sure there have been many times when you've felt overwhelmed with the number of tasks you must do, and I get it. It is not easy overseeing everything that goes on, plus making important decisions, but fear not, this is where VAs come in hand.

If you're trying to take your company to another level and put someone in charge of your tasks (either a part-time or full-time VA), we got you covered.

Roles that a Marketing VA can cover

  • Social Media Manager

Promote relevant and engaging content on your social media profiles to reach a wider audience. This includes blog posts, events, presentations, articles, and other news that pertains to your audience.

  • Video Editors:

Video editors edit video and audio footage, organizing clips using computer software, and preserving the quality of each clip. Among their tasks is splitting or combining video clips, adding appropriate sound and graphics, and reviewing the final product for mistakes.

  • Graphic Designer:

Graphic designers create graphic art by hand or by using specialized software. Their work communicates ideas to inspire, inform, or captivate consumers through a variety of media including images, words, or graphics. They ensure accurate and effective communication with clients and customers by constantly communicating with other designers.

  • Marketing Coordinator:

A marketing coordinator can prepare and assist in marketing and advertising campaigns, prepare marketing reports, research competitive products, create and maintain databases, lead generation, etc.
